Before we finish our series on the Godhead, there are some things we want you to understand about who we are and what we stand for. None of us grew up in church and all of us are sinners even today. The real difference is how hard we work to be mindful of what YHWH expects of us. In our old life, we too, rejected the “Jesus Concept”. Let me explain.
Accountability of Jesus
Jesus adds an additional level of accountability none of us accepted. Hence, the “Jesus Concept”. Simply put, it’s a rejection of His deity. When people told us we were going to hell, we just didn’t care. “The Jesus Concept” simply refers to an antichrist belief system in the secular world.
Some of us thought “why does an almighty, all powerful God need a Jesus?” Others of us were of the school of thought Jesus existed to take away our fun. It really doesn’t matter where you are right now or what your thoughts are regarding the deity of Jesus. The point is we all started somewhere and generally it wasn’t with Jesus IS the reigning King.
Planning It all Out
As we sat down, under the guidance of our heavenly Father, and began to design out our strategies for getting His word out, we came to the decision that we would lean heavier on the providence of God than leaning on quoting his word. Before you get your panties in a bunch, let me explain. The book of Esther in the Old Testament does not mention the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit even once. Yet, everything in the chapter shows the hand of God moving. Looking at Esther there is no loss of Yahweh’s power in the book; just as there will be no loss of God’s power for us. We simply understand what it is to be living in the world.
Before Christ entered our life, we didn’t care about the Bible. Truly, it was nothing more than a book and it was not the authority on anything. Sadly, in today’s world, there is not much difference. Most of the people we talk to don’t see the bible as the true authority it is.
The Bible’s Authority
To make this clear, we know and believe beyond a shadow of a doubt; the Bible IS the authority not only on life but on the history and creation of our world, as well as the only document to understand the motivations, dreams, goals and beliefs of the Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Not only does the Bible stand as its own document, it withstands the test of time and it NEVER returns the wrong answers. Living by the Bible opens the doors for us to be wildly successful in our daily life. Wildly successful in this context does not mean you are a billionaire but it means you are not governed by fear of what may or may not be, strength to withstand any and all situations no matter how scary it is and the peace to know you are going to be o.k. no matter what circumstance. We LOVE the Bible!
With that in mind, your mission, should you choose to accept it; is to search the Bible and see for yourself. Enjoy figuring it out. There are a ton of options and tools out there. We love Strong’s, but there are others. So have fun with it and for those of you who don’t want to know what the Bible says…keep reading and we’ll keep writing.
By the way, we aren’t saying we won’t use the Bible or quote it, we most definitely will; count on it! Packed full of credible witness accounts, the Bible is really the only thing worth talking about in today’s world.
Part II
Our ministry is not supported by tithes. We have been charged with a huge task and being dependent on people’s feelings won’t get that done. The facts are simple, if we are doing our job correctly, people will love us or they will hate us. We will be changing lives and raising people out of the muck and mire of life. Our people will want something different all they need is someone who will believe in them! WE believe in people. For as nasty and despicable as they can be. We believe, when a person comes to the end of themselves they can do extraordinary things!
When we first began back in 2017, we were taught tithing was the way to go; but there are games people play with tithing we won’t and can’t be a part of. We cannot be bought; our role is to tell the truth no matter the cost up to and including death. In our beginning, we were funded through tithes and we did well. Our bills were paid every month and life was moving along. We were making a difference in the community and families were getting assistance where we could. Our focus was and continues to be housing and health care. Then one day the Lord came and He asked what we would do if we lost the support of every tither. We told Him we would stay faithful no matter the circumstances.
Needless to say, the day came when a donor wanted to hear something we couldn’t tell them; what they wanted to hear and what God had to say were two different things. They pulled their support and we kept persevering and before long money was easier.
There is a value in tithing. It is an act of worship in which you say to God I trust you and only you to provide. (This doesn’t mean you can’t be out there doing something.)
We all tithe and we have seen the benefits of tithing. Let me tell you a story, I love my son; he is so funny. The kid is not a follower of Christ but he is a faithful tither. Every time he stops tithing his finances go crazy. All of a sudden he is broke and can’t account for how he spent his paycheck. Then he comes and says, “Ugggh! I didn’t tithe and now I am broke.” No matter what, tithing makes everything in life easier. Not just financially but in other ways as well. We will go more into detail on a later date.
Part III
The Trinity
Get this clear. We are not Trinitarians. We do, however, believe in a triune God; meaning, in layman’s terms, there are three people who make up the Godhead. God the Father is the leader and visionary, Jesus His son is the person who saved the world and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God who makes it all happen. The division does not cause any of us here to stumble over the deity of each of the three. We know it was through Jesus everything we see today was created. God is the only one with the power to create and the Holy Spirit is the power that takes the idea in God’s head and turns it into reality. What’s the problem?
Opinions Don’t Matter Here
We have a saying around here; your disbelief in gravity won’t stop it from holding you to the ground. If you jump off a skyscraper, you won’t fly. Don’t try it just trust me on that. Better yet here is a picture for you. Whether or not you believe in gravity is inconsequential. The judgment of YHWH is no different. It doesn’t matter whether you believe in Jesus or not the result will be judgment day. Disbelief affects your life experience.
Outside of Jesus, nothing can save you! Jesus fixes what’s broken! Mother earth has no power to heal. Earthly remedies are given power by YHWH (God) through His son Christ Jesus. Outside of a relationship with Christ (the anointed one of God and not His last name) you have no sacrifice standing between you and the not so great choices we have all made. The key is the blood.
Jesus’ appearance on this earth impacted a great many things. One of them was making sure we could walk into the presence of the Father and talk to Him. Understanding that Jesus is the doorway; only means you understand the Holiness of the Father. We, in our flesh, can’t walk before Him without Jesus, or we die. We can’t look at his face or we burst into flames; it is through the sacrifice of Jesus we get to experience the Holy Spirit or go before our Heavenly Father.
On that note, you know our stance on a few things. Disclaimers mean we are talking about something controversial. One day, people will ridicule us and talk all sorts of evil about us. The same thing was done to Jesus meaning we’re in great company. It means we are being effective or they wouldn’t say anything. Nothing is going to stop us from guiding you through and to the truth!
